The idea started from an old age, when we made our first hiking steps and searched for spaces ideal for our activities. Always at the edge of the mind, the thought of creating a multi-room and matured with the reputation of the monastery complex of Kalyvia in Karyes of Laconia.

The intervention was not achieved in this area, but in the opposite lonely hut, ten years later, where a small settlement was built, based on existing footprints and buildings.

It is situated in a privileged position, overlooking the peaks of Parnonas and Taygetos at an altitude of 950m. Viewing the absolute natural landscape of the area, you are lost in the universe ..., the mind goes away from reality and relaxes with its calm, listening to the soft music of nature.

The unit has an agrotouristic form with alternative activities. It provides the possibility of group or individual living, sociability or isolation.

It is built according to the standards of a three star hotel, with respect to the environment and the place.

Exclusively stone-made with woodcuts and visible roofs, it provides the visitor with all the comforts of this class.

It consists of 10 independent rooms with a capacity of 22 beds, three of which are remote and independent of the coherent section. In these houses, there is the luxury of autonomy with the use of the fireplace, mini bar and coffee or tea.

The breakfast room with the bar is located in an independent but flat level of the built-up living room, which surrounds the village fireplace and is unified with 50,00sqm. multipurpose hall. Lectures, seminars, exhibitions, presentations, social events and various gatherings can be implemented in the specially designed area.

Traditional cooking and tasting lessons are delivered to the opposite building, where the wood-fired oven, grill and grill have a prime role. Here you can prepare your own meal, experiment, and even compete.

The adventurous ... can collect from the garden the ecological products, the eggs from the chicken coop, to milk the neighboring pens, to try part of the agro-livestock life, by contacting the permanent residents of the area.

The children will see the trees and plants that thrive in the area, they will know the crops, the housewives, will observe the birds, they will play in the countryside and the playground.

Small seating at selected locations and routes gives the visitor the opportunity to enjoy his private moments.

Kalyvia, as the altooth granary of the area, is flooded with threshing floors or shaped plateaus. The facilities inside the unit are for cultural events and private events where catering services are also provided.
